Russia has the industrial capacity to regularly carry out large-scale missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
This was emphasized by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, during a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council in Kyiv.
According to him, during one recent attack, the Russian Federation used over 650 drones at night and around 100 during the day, resulting in the deaths of 23 people, including children.
"Russia has the capability to produce about 120 ballistic missiles each month... This means that every month they can carry out several large-scale mass attacks," Zelensky noted.
The President emphasized that ballistic missiles are just part of Russia's arsenal, which also produces other types of weapons, allowing it to continue systematic missile terror against Ukraine.
Zelensky highlighted that such capability of Russia represents one of the key and most serious threats to Ukraine today.
Recall that as a result of the massive shelling of the capital on June 2, hits were recorded in eight districts, damaging residential buildings, a private clinic, and partially disrupting traffic.
Russian President Vladimir Putin publicly threatened an attack for several days prior to the massive strike on Ukraine. The main blow on June 2 fell on Kyiv, where the enemy used missiles of various types.
