The household robot Isaac 1 from Weave Robotics is set to tidy up homes, make beds, and fold laundry. The catch: if the robot struggles, a remote staff member will take over.

In February 2026, the US company Weave Robotics introduced Isaac 0, a stationary robot specialized in folding laundry. The company charges $3,999 for the robot or $249 per month. There is, however, the prospect of updates and lower prices for future products.

Isaac 1: More Household Tasks

With Isaac 1, Weave Robotics has now unveiled a robot that is expected to handle significantly more tasks around the house just a few months later. In addition to folding laundry, Isaac 1 is also designed to tidy up the living room, fluff pillows, or make the bed, as reported by New Atlas.

Unlike Isaac 0, its successor can move around the home on wheels. Weave Robotics has also improved its appearance. Isaac 1 features a slightly more human-like face and is covered in padded fabric. The robot's height is adjustable, ranging from 0.9 to 1.75 meters.

However, Isaac 1 still has limitations in its functions. If the robot encounters difficulties while completing its tasks, a staff member from the provider may take over remotely. This means that an external person could potentially view the users' home through the robot's camera.

Provider Assists via Camera Control

According to Weave Robotics, the field of view is indeed limited. Additionally, the robot's camera eyes are equipped with physical shutters, which indicate when the robot is active and when it is not.

Isaac 1 comes with a price tag of $7,999. In a subscription model, the robot will cost $449. The first models are expected to be delivered in the fall of 2026. A deposit of $250 is required to pre-order an Isaac 1. However, the robot will initially be available only in the USA.
